Get a Jump on the Season

We have only heard of minor damage on bedding plants, but trees were slightly damaged. Trim any branches that are broken and spray a small amount of pruning sealer on the tree's fresh cut. Just a reminder that if you applied a pre-emergence in mid March or April, it’s time to reapply this product to keep from getting weeds sprouting up later in the summer. It is also time to reapply fertilizer to the lawn to help it keep that deep green color and to help thicken up the roots. We still have a large selection of bedding plants. We received a large shipment of tomatoes, peppers plus many melons and cucumbers. Stop by and see the flowers that are available. Spring is springing and the temperatures are looking good, if only the wind would stop blowing. Most lawns are starting to look pretty green. If yours still has a few yellow patches, wait a couple more weeks before worrying too much.

Our greenhouse is starting to fill up with veggie plants! We have a good selection of tomatoes and peppers in 6-packs. Annual flowers are starting to show up as well, including quite a few hanging baskets already...
