Whether you’re trying to feed your lawn, garden, flowers or trees we have what you need. We’re known best for our Greenmaster lawn fertilizer from Jirdon which is specifically formulated for the Rocky Mtn region. In addition to being high in Nitrogen, Greenmaster is also high in Iron and Sulfur which is perfect for our soil conditions. We also offer an economic 5-step lawn program from Ferti-Lome.
From bindweed to white grubs we have a large selection of traditional and natural products to keep the pests out of your lawn and garden.
Soil is an important first step in planning your plantings. Ferti-Lome Ultimate Potting Mix is our most popular and economic potting mix for containers and comes in a variety of sizes. We also sell Foxfarm Ocean Forest and Happy Frog potting soils. To amend your existing soil we carry peat moss, cow compost, sheep compost and topsoil. Our favorite amendment is Acidified Cotton Burr Compost which is terrific for combating this area’s alkaline and clay soils. Gorilla Hair Mulch is a shredded cedar which is terrific for top dressing beds to help maintain soil moisture and temperature as well as giving a nice finished look.
We carry a large variety of packaged and bulk seed which include veggies, flowers, perennials and grass. Our Tuff Turf Mix and Fox’s Mix grass seed have been best sellers for many years. Bulbs are seasonal with tulips, iris, daffodils, crocus, hyacinths, allium and garlic being available in the fall. Onions, potatoes, dahlias, gladiolus, lilies and cannas are available in Spring.
Fox’s offers a very large variety of vegetable, herb, annual and perennial flower starts. Frost tolerant plants start arriving around the 1st of April, but the best selection of plants is usually the first three weeks of May. Remember, our last average frost date is around Mother’s Day so don’t be in too big of a hurry to plant those Pueblo Chiles.
Fruit trees, shade trees, ornamental trees, shrubs and roses arrive between Mid-April and the first week of May.
