Fertilize roses any time now. I recommend "Bill's Rose Food" twice a year. Feed no, and again mid-summer. This formula has a good balance of major nutrients plus a cheated iron that will be noticed in the dark shiny leaves of the plant.
Pansies and Johnny jump-ups are in, and can be planted outdoors any time now. They don't care about that cold weather that we have had lately. These are always great for early spring color. If you would like to continue gardening indoors, stop by and see our lemon, and lime trees. These will produce fruit, and are very attractive and easy to care for.
Apply F-Stop to areas that have necrotic ring spot now, and again in 30 days. Apply again in September, and be patient. This can take up to 3 years to control. Over-seed with Midnight Blue, or perennial Rye to help mask this turf fungus.
